Worship Gathering

What to Expect

Every Sunday at 10:30 AM our church gathers for community worship. We sing praises, read scripture, learn together, and encourage each other in our faith. All are welcome to be a part of our gathering.

You will notice that when we gather to worship, we do some things different. This is so that we can create a gathering that invites people to engage with each other as they worship and hear from God together. The first thing you will notice is that we sit as tables as well as in rows. This is so that we can meet face-to-face and have conversation with each other as we learn what it means to be followers of Jesus.

Each week we pray over both the praises and requests of those attending. We sing together. We spend time learning through an interactive teaching style. We do all this to foster a community that seeks God in authentic ways that apply to where we find ourselves each week.

Our hope is to build deep relationships that meet each other where we really are. Then we can truly rejoice with and care for people. This is why we build space into our times together to hear from God and share with others in ways that lead to intentional prayer and action in our daily lives. We believe that each time we gather it is an opportunity to be part of a community that follows Jesus by knowing him and each other better.

Children are welcomed to be part of the worship gathering until their HUB classes begin. This lets them worship with the whole church and take part in prayer and worship with the adults. About 15 minutes into our gathering the children head to their HUB classroom.

If it is your first time be sure to stop and get coffee and a snack on the way to your seat. We want you to make your self at home. So wear what you are comfortable in and feel free to ask questions.
