Next Steps

Every victory begins with a well-conceived game plan. The same is true in starting a new church. The following are the steps we have taken to plant this exciting new church:

Stage I – The Launch Team Stage

Goal: To enlist and train adult Launch Team members (founders) who are committed to HomeFront’s mission, values and basic beliefs.

Status: Completed with flying colors!

Stage II – “Sneak Preview” Stage

Goal: To hold 4 monthly “Sneak Preview” services throughout the spring/summer (May-August 2003) and to follow-up each one with a “next step” event.

Status: Completed with flying colors!

Stage III – Grand Opening Stage

Goal: To begin having weekly services after Labor Day in September, 2003 and to pack out the building on our Grand Opening Sunday in November, 2003. This was the official kick-off of our church!

Status: Completed with flying colors!

Stage IV – Assimilation Stage

Goal: To be intentional and systematic in assimilating new people into the life of our church through effective follow-up, basic Christianity Bible studies, membership classes, service projects, social events and small group ministries.

Status: Ongoing…!
