Sometimes the Bible can be a confusing book. Finding exactly what you are looking for within its pages can be an intimidating and even frustrating task. When you really start to understand the Old Testament, however, you quickly see God’s plan play out as an amazing story from creation right up through the birth of Christ. Starting this fall we will be offering GROW as a fix to your aimless wanderings through the Old Testament! It will all make sense very soon.

Come along with Beth Moore on a life changing journey which will lead you through the hills of Galilee with the Teacher, across the lake with the Master, and, finally, on the road with the Savior-His face set toward the cross.

Thursday Mornings, 9:30am – 11:00am

James, Jesus’ own brother, started out as a skeptic. In Beth Moore’s newest study, see how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos but in other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.
Faith and Film
Open to anyone 18 years and older
Time: Sunday 6:30 – 8:45
Cost: none
Faith and Film night is a group that will watch contemporary films. They will then discuss the relevant scriptural application relating to the movie.
Men’s Saturday Morning Breakfast Group
Saturday morning, 8:30am-10:00am
At Russ’ Restaurant in Grandville
Study: Bible Based, but group will determine.

This is a group made up of men of every age and walk that meet for breakfast on Saturday mornings. It is hard doing life on your own and we are all men on the same journey and need each other’s help, by prayer and wisdom through God’s Spirit to become better leaders, husbands and fathers.
We meet at Russ’ Restaurant in Grandville. A typical meeting starts out with breakfast and friendship time, that usually includes a lot of laughs and then we go into a group selected Bible Study, all meetings end with some connection time and prayer requests.

This study will be GREAT for those who think they might like to try a study or for those who are just busy, busy, busy! The study is short and sweet, moderately in depth with the personal study portion being something that you can do a little or do a lot of.
